Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

So much drama in the LBC l.i.f.e. It's kinda hard been Snoop D.O. double G. E double D I E.
I've never been good at break-ups. My first official girl friend was broken up by the tried-and-true method of just not calling her anymore.

Even though that was years ago, I'm still not better at it. And now it occurs to me that leaving a job is like breaking up. It's like I'm telling them, "it's not you, it's me" and the Dear John letter is just replaced by the Letter of Resignation.
The good news is that I did get a new job and they're excited about me starting. The words "your experience is just what we need" were actually uttered.
It's good to be wanted.
