Rally With A Cause

I'm not sure if this is still a local story or not but it's a good story. The full version is here but the cliff note version is that a girl named Hope got her wish from "Make-A-Wish" and it was to grant all the other kids wishes. They figured they'd need $1,000,000 to make that happen. She then got involved somehow with the Carolina Panthers and the story was on during a playoff game of hers. Well... she died but they're still trying to grant her wish.
I think they've raised around $700,000 to date and there's a pep rally today to honor her.
and that's where I'll be at lunch.
